Seacroft

Seacroft is a reverse-level house for eight in Polruan, with estuary and harbour views from its main rooms. Four bedrooms comprise two king-size rooms, a twin and a bunk room, and three bathrooms serve the group.

Host Sophie manages the booking. The elevated living arrangement opens onto a private waterfront terrace, and guests also share access across a lawn to steps leading down to the river, so it's worth knowing that lawn is shared rather than a private enclosed garden. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and one dog can stay. There's no on-site parking.

Polruan faces Fowey across the river mouth, and a year-round passenger ferry crosses the estuary in about five minutes, useful for reaching Fowey's restaurants and shops without a car. Readymoney Cove is 600m away on the Fowey side, and Lantic Bay, a remote sandy beach reached by a steep footpath, is 1.2 miles east along the coast path. Lansallos Beach is 2.6 miles from the house. The National Trust's Hall Walk, a 4-mile circular route starting at the Bodinnick ferry a mile north, follows the estuary through woodland with views back over Fowey.
