The renovation used granite and oak throughout the kitchen - specifics that matter when you are paying a premium for a village that gets very busy in July and August.

Mousehole Beach is 200m away. The harbour itself, with its boats and the wall that fills with swimmers on warm evenings, is directly below the cottage. Lamorna Cove is 1.9 miles south along the coast path for a more sheltered alternative.

One double bedroom and one twin, 1 bathroom, wood burner for off-peak stays, and a courtyard garden. Parking, wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted.

Best for couples or a couple with children who want a village property with genuine harbour character rather than a new-build with a sea glimpse. Suits guests who will explore on foot - Mousehole is not a car-based destination. Less good for groups wanting more than 4 beds.
