Porthcurno Beach is 400 metres away - a white-sand cove framed by granite cliffs, with the Minack Theatre carved into the cliff directly above. The Minack runs open-air performances from May to September; evening shows at 7:30pm catch the sun setting behind the stage. Porthchapel Beach, a quieter sandy cove, is about 900 metres west. Logan Rock headland is a short walk east along the coast path; Land's End is about 3 miles in the other direction.

**Best for:** Couples wanting quiet in one of Cornwall's most dramatic coastal settings; visitors with mobility needs who want good beach access; Minack Theatre fans. **Less good for:** Families with children; anyone needing WiFi, a washing machine, or a dishwasher.
