Seaspray

Seaspray is a two-bedroom mid-terrace cottage on the Penzance promenade, with the sea wall directly opposite. The view runs south across Mount's Bay to Newlyn harbour and the Lizard 12 miles beyond. A pebbled beach uncovers below the wall at low tide.

The cottage sleeps two across two bedrooms and one bathroom. Wi-Fi, washing machine, and a small enclosed garden come included. Private off-street parking is rare on this stretch of the promenade and a real plus. Dogs are welcome. Front rooms catch traffic noise from the seafront road - back rooms are quieter.

Penzance town centre sits a quarter mile west along the prom. The Jubilee Pool, the UK's largest seawater lido and now geothermally heated, is two minutes on foot. The Scillonian III ferry to St Mary's leaves from Penzance harbour, half a mile away. Newlyn, England's largest fishing port, is a mile south along the coast path. Best for couples wanting a sea-facing base with parking and an easy walk to the lido and the Scilly ferry. Less good for light sleepers sensitive to road noise, or families - it sleeps two only.
