Trevellas Cove is 1.6 miles away - a small cove used historically for shipping tin ore, with a dramatic rock arch accessible at low tide. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 1.7 miles and has a seasonal beach cafe and surf hire. St Agnes village itself, a short drive or 30-minute walk, has independent shops, a bakery, the Taphouse pub, and galleries.

Suits: two guests wanting ground-floor accommodation in a quiet inland setting with North Cornwall beaches within a couple of miles. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Less suitable for guests expecting a coastal location - Mithian is a village setting.
