Serenade 19 Gwel Marten

Serenade is a first-floor apartment within the Gwel Marten development above Carbis Bay, sleeping 4 across 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, with 2 bathrooms. From the elevated position, sea views extend across the bay. A shared terrace garden sits outside. Dogs are not accepted. A washer/dryer, dishwasher and parking are included. The living room has recliners, a deep sofa, a large Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker, and the double bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

Carbis Bay is 600 metres downhill from the apartment - a sheltered south-facing beach with calm, clear water considered one of the safest family beaches on the north Cornish coast. The St Ives branch line runs from Carbis Bay station, which is 500 metres from the front door, making St Ives town reachable by train in 4 minutes and eliminating the need to find parking there in peak season. St Ives itself has the Tate St Ives gallery, Porthminster and Porthmeor beaches, and a wide range of restaurants and independent shops. Porthkidney Beach is 1 mile along the coast.

Best for: two couples or a family of 4 wanting sea views and easy rail access to St Ives without driving into the town centre. Less good for dog owners - dogs are not accepted. The terrace is shared with other apartments in the development.
