Skylarks is a three-bedroom dog-friendly cottage at Higher Treveria near Looe, sleeping 6 across 2 bathrooms. A hot tub sits in the garden alongside outdoor seating; inside, an open fire gives the sitting room a focal point through autumn and winter. Dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking are all included.

The layout works for two families or a group of six with dogs. Pets are welcome at no additional charge under the standard booking terms. The enclosed garden and rural setting give dogs room to run without leash pressure on the immediate arrival.

The cottage is in the Looe Valley, roughly 1.9 miles north of Plaidy Beach. The Looe Valley is one of the most sheltered river valleys in south-east Cornwall - wooded, quiet, and a natural walking corridor. The Looe Valley Line railway runs from Liskeard to Looe along the river, a 53-minute journey through steep woodland that is worth making independently of any practical purpose.

Plaidy Beach, the closest sand at 1.9 miles, is a quieter alternative to East Looe Beach at 2.5 miles - suitable for dog walking at most tides. East Looe beach in the town has a seasonal dog restriction during summer months, so the outlying coves become more useful for guests with pets. Downderry Beach, 2.8 miles south, is another option along the coast road.

Looe town has two harbours, a fish market on the quay, and independent shops along the main street. The Banjo Pier is the photographic focal point of the harbour.

This property suits families with dogs who want reliable facilities at a countryside address within easy reach of the south Cornwall coast. It is a good fit for autumn and winter breaks where the hot tub and open fire offset the cooler weather. Changeover is Friday.
