Slow Tide

Slow Tide is a three-bedroom cottage for six in Bude, with three bathrooms and a dedicated ground-floor cinema room. The cinema has a 65-inch screen, Sonos surround sound and LED mood lighting, and a separate games room adds another indoor option for wet days, with storage for wetsuits, surfboards and bodyboards. The kitchen has an induction hob, a Nespresso machine and an American-style fridge-freezer.

Two king-size bedrooms and one twin room make up the sleeping arrangements. The kitchen-diner includes a dishwasher and washing machine, and a wood burner serves the living space. Outside, the enclosed south-facing garden has a barbecue. Dogs are accepted, internet access and an EV charger are included, and private off-road parking for two cars is at the front of the property.

Crooklets Beach is 0.6 miles away, a 10-minute walk from the cottage and one of Bude's main surf beaches. Summerleaze Beach, with its tidal sea pool, is also 0.6 miles, and Northcott Mouth is 1.1 miles. Bude sits at the midpoint of more than 30 miles of the South West Coast Path, and the 19th-century Bude Canal, now used for kayaking, runs inland from the harbour.

**Best for:** Families or friends wanting three bathrooms, a cinema room and two beaches within 0.6 miles.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free accommodation.
