Spray Cottage

Spray Cottage is a two-bedroom stone cottage in rural North Cornwall for four guests, between Padstow and Newquay near Wadebridge. One double bedroom and one twin share a single bathroom, but the twin is reached through the double - a layout that suits a family or close group more than two couples wanting separate privacy.

A wood burner sits opposite a long sofa inside. The kitchen, lounge and bathroom are on the ground floor, and the main bedroom and the twin room are up the stairs on the first floor. Outdoors, a south-facing patio and garden hold a barbecue for outdoor meals. WiFi, parking and a washing machine are included, and one dog can stay.

Porthcothan Bay is the nearest settlement, a narrow inlet about five miles south of Padstow between Treyarnon Bay and Bedruthan Steps. Porthcothan Bay Beach itself is 1.6 miles from the cottage, Bedruthan Steps Beach is 2 miles away and Treyarnon Bay 2.4 miles - each reachable by a short drive rather than on foot.

**Best for:** A family or close group wanting a wood burner, south-facing patio and garden, and several beaches within 2.4 miles.

**Less good for:** Two couples wanting separate bedrooms, or guests needing step-free access.
