Kernow Cottage

Kernow Cottage is a 19th-century former quarryman's cottage near Wadebridge for four guests, in the parish of St Breock about a mile from town.

A king-size room and a twin share one bathroom; the twin beds are only 2 feet 6 inches wide, worth checking before booking for larger children or adults. A wood burner and an open fire both heat the cottage. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and garden are included. Dogs are not accepted.

A traditional country dining pub sits 50 metres from the door and will deliver meals to the cottage on request. The Camel Trail cycle path, which starts in Wadebridge and runs 5.5 miles along the estuary to Padstow, is a short drive away.

Daymer Bay Beach is 3.8 miles from the cottage, Greenaway Beach 4.2 miles and Polzeath Beach 4.5 miles. Tintagel and the Seven Bays coast are further trips for guests with a car.
