Beech Lodge

Beech Lodge is a single-storey lodge on a holiday park on the outskirts of Wadebridge, with the on-site shop and bar/clubhouse just 20 metres away. One open-plan room holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a gas fire, and electric central heating runs through the lodge. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

It sleeps four across three bedrooms, which share a shower room with a walk-in shower, while a separate cloakroom adds a second WC. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, and there is a TV and WiFi. Outside, enclosed decking with furniture gives you somewhere to eat, and off-road parking takes two cars.

The park has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a waterslide and a children's play area, with the pool open May to September during daily site hours. The park closes from November to April, so check dates before booking. The clubhouse serves food to eat in or take away at times set week by week, and the shop opens around May half term.

Pubs are 0.7 miles away, a supermarket 1.2 miles and a river 1 mile. Padstow is 9 miles and Newquay 16 miles, and Rock and Polzeath beaches are 10 to 15 minutes by car. Smoking is not allowed and pets are not accepted. The lodge suits a family or friends of up to four who want the park's pool and play area close by, and is less good for anyone travelling with a dog.
