Squirrels Drey

Squirrels Drey is a one-bedroom cottage for two on a country house estate near Cury Cross Lanes, a Lizard crossroads settlement about five miles south of Helston. The double bedroom and one bathroom suit a couple, and there is no garden, so outdoor space is limited to the wider estate grounds.

Dogs are not accepted. Parking is included, and a dishwasher and washing machine cover practical self-catering needs. There is no WiFi, so guests should plan on a phone signal or offline days. Host Paula manages the booking.

The cottage has direct access to the South West Coast Path and the surrounding countryside, with Mullion Cove and village about two miles west. Poldhu Cove Beach is 1.4 miles away, followed by Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach at 1.6 miles and Polurrian Beach at 1.8 miles - each a short drive from the estate.

The cottage is rated 4.3 out of 5 from 22 reviews, with cleanliness scoring 5 and equipment and comfort each scoring 4. There is no hot tub, barbecue or confirmed step-free access, and only two gallery images are supplied, so it is worth requesting extra photos before booking.

**Best for:** A couple wanting coast-path access, parking and several nearby coves within 1.8 miles.

**Less good for:** Dog owners, or guests needing WiFi, private outdoor space or step-free access.
