Woodpeckers Cottage

Woodpeckers Cottage is a one-bedroom property for two on a 23-acre country estate at Cury Cross Lanes. It is one of four holiday cottages in the grounds, making the wider setting shared rather than private. One bathroom serves the bedroom.

Guests can use a communal heated outdoor swimming pool, shared with the other cottages on the estate. WiFi, parking, EV charging, a washing machine, garden and barbecue are included, though there's no dishwasher. Dogs aren't accepted here, so this suits a couple travelling without pets. The estate includes lavender fields and open skies that make it a good spot for stargazing away from town lighting.

Poldhu Cove Beach is 1.4 miles away. Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach is 1.6 miles from the cottage and Polurrian Beach is 1.8 miles away, all reachable along the Lizard's western coast. The address, listed location and nearest-town fields all point to Cury Cross Lanes, and the grounds provide direct access to the South West Coast Path.

The guide price starts at £716 a week, and host Paula manages the booking. Woodpeckers Cottage holds a 4 out of 5 rating from 20 reviews, with cleanliness, equipment and comfort each scoring 4.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a shared pool, EV charging, laundry facilities and Coast Path access, with three beaches within 2 miles. **Less good for:** guests wanting a private pool, dishwasher, verified step-free access or a dog-friendly stay.
