Stable Farm Cottage

Stable Farm Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage for six within a holiday complex near Poughill, on Bude's northern edge. Two double bedrooms and a twin sleep the group, though one bathroom for six is worth planning around for a full house. Exposed beams and ceiling trusses run through the interior, with countryside views from several rooms.

Guests share a heated indoor swimming pool and a games room with table tennis and a pool table, both part of the wider complex rather than exclusive to the cottage. An enclosed patio has seating and a barbecue. Parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and garden are included, and up to two dogs can stay. The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and the sitting area has a TV/DVD with Freeview.

Crooklets Beach and Summerleaze Beach are each 1.7 miles away, with Northcott Mouth 1.8 miles further along the coast. Poughill's own coast path reaches Sandymouth beach in under a mile, and Crooklets is around a 15-minute walk from the village centre. Bude town, with its canal and sea pool, is close by for a wider choice of restaurants and shops.

**Best for:** A family wanting a shared pool, games room and enclosed patio within reach of three beaches.

**Less good for:** Guests needing multiple bathrooms or private leisure facilities.
