Star House

Star House takes the first and second floors above a shop in the middle of Marazion, beside the alley that leads to the granite-sett causeway for St Michael's Mount. The master bedroom is on the second floor and pairs a double bed with a children's bunk, an en suite shower room and a balcony looking across to the Mount and Mounts Bay. The second double bedroom is one floor down, next to a bathroom with a free standing bath.

The property sleeps six. The open plan living room on the first floor combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas and has a log burner, with fuel, power and a starter pack for the burner included. The kitchen has an electric cooker, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a washer dryer. There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, WiFi, books and games. Heating is eco heating, a utility room has a WC, and bed linen and towels come with the stay. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.

The nearest parking is the public car park 400 metres from the house, which works by number plate recognition, charging either by the hour or by a weekly ticket bought in advance. The shop and pub are a minute's walk away, and the alley beside the house leads to the causeway, a choice of beaches and the coastal path.

One well-behaved dog is welcome only between September and May, because of a local beach ban in the summer months. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the property. The bedrooms are on the upper floors and reached by stairs, so it is less good for anyone who finds stairs difficult, and it suits two couples or a family who want to be within walking distance of the village and the Mount.
