Stewarts Retreat

Stewarts Retreat is a three-bedroom cottage for six in Bude, a short drive from Stratton, the nearest town for shops and pubs. One bedroom has a king, one a double, and the third a king-size zip-and-link bed that converts to twins on request - useful for a group with mixed sleeping preferences. Two bathrooms serve the six-person group.

The enclosed garden has seating and a BBQ, giving up to two dogs secure outdoor space away from the road. Wi-Fi, parking and a washing machine are included. Equipment includes an electric hob and electric oven, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher for guests doing their own catering.

Crooklets Beach is 0.5 miles away, Summerleaze Beach - home to Bude's tidal sea pool - is 0.6 miles, and Northcott Mouth is 0.8 miles. All three are close enough to reach on foot, with Bude's surf schools and the 19th-century canal a short walk beyond that.

The property sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, both of them shower rooms, one en suite.

**Best for:** Families wanting flexible beds, an enclosed garden, laundry facilities and three beaches within 0.8 miles on foot.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free access.
