Stop Tide is a three-bedroom cottage at Port Gaverne near Port Isaac sleeping 5 with 1 bathroom. The sun terrace overlooks the cove and is about 200m from the sand - a good position for watching the tide come in without leaving the property. Port Gaverne beach is sheltered - sand at low tide, rock pools around the edges, and calm enough for young children to paddle safely. Port Isaac's harbour, the Platt, and the restaurants along the quay are a 10-minute walk along the coast path. Golden Lion and Fresh from the Sea are the best-known spots for food. The south-west coast path runs east and west from the cove, with Tregardock Beach reachable after 5km and Polzeath after 7.1km.

The village has no pub or shop of its own - everything is accessed via Port Isaac or a short drive to Wadebridge, about 15km south.

This is ideal for families wanting a genuinely quiet cove setting with good practical kit and short beach access. Not well suited for guests needing more than 1 bathroom for a group of 5, or for those wanting proximity to a town with restaurants and shops. Saturday changeover.
