Sunbeam Cottage is a refurbished fisherman's cottage for four in Padstow Old Town, on the west bank of the Camel Estuary. One double and one twin bedroom each have an en-suite bathroom, while a separate ground-floor cloakroom adds a third toilet - the two en-suites keep each bedroom self-contained for washing.

Original features remain alongside a fitted kitchen and naturally lit rooms. Wi-Fi, private parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs are accepted. There is no private garden, so this suits guests happy with a town-centre setting over outdoor space.

Padstow's working quay and independent restaurants sit at the end of the street, within reach of Rick Stein's seafood restaurants and Paul Ainsworth's Michelin-starred No. 6. Daymer Bay Beach is 1.5 miles away, Trevone Bay 1.6 miles and Greenaway Beach 1.9 miles - all a short drive rather than a walk.
