The Anchorage

The Anchorage is a three-bedroom fisherman-style cottage directly on Falmouth harbour, sleeping 6 across 3 levels. Its own boat dock and coastal views from the living room, balcony and courtyard set it apart from an inland town house, though the 3 levels mean stairs between rooms rather than single-floor living. Host Amanda manages the booking.

The bedrooms comprise 1 king-size, 1 double and 1 twin. Three bathrooms give each bedroom convenient access. A dishwasher and washing machine are included, but there's no Wi-Fi. Dogs are not accepted.

The courtyard garden and balcony provide outside space around the harbour outlook, and parking is included. Guests arriving by boat should confirm dock dimensions and access terms in advance. Falmouth sits on the third-deepest natural harbour in the world, with the National Maritime Museum Cornwall on the waterfront and Pendennis Castle, built under Henry VIII, a short walk from the cottage.
