The Blue House Penzance

The Blue House is a Grade II-listed house for six on Regent Square in Penzance, just off Chapel Street with its Georgian shopfronts and the Admiral Benbow pub. Three bedrooms comprise a king-size room with en-suite, one double and one twin, served by two bathrooms in total.

An enclosed stone-walled garden has a terrace with outdoor dining furniture. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, and dogs are welcome. The living room has an open fire and wood flooring, and a playroom with a day bed adjoins the kitchen/diner.

Eastern Green Beach is 1.0 mile away, a quiet, south-facing stretch with views of St Michael's Mount across the bay. Long Rock Beach follows at 1.6 miles. Closer still, Jubilee Pool, the 300-foot Art Deco lido opened in 1935, and Penzance harbour, with its Scillonian ferry terminal for the Isles of Scilly, are both within walking distance of Regent Square.

Mousehole Beach is 2.3 miles along the coast, and one of the two bathrooms is on the ground floor.

**Best for:** a family or friends wanting three bedrooms, a walled garden and Penzance's harbour, shops and Jubilee Pool on foot. **Less good for:** guests needing accessible accommodation.
