The Breakers

The Breakers is a 3-bedroom ground-floor apartment in Carbis Bay, sleeping 5 across three bathrooms. It sits within the Parc Owles development and holds an accessible layout throughout - a practical choice when travelling with young children, older relatives, or guests who find stairs difficult.

Indoors, three bedrooms and a dishwasher take care of the basics, and dogs are welcome. Outside, an enclosed garden and a BBQ extend the space in good weather. Parking is included. The Friday changeover allows arrivals on the last working day of the week.

Carbis Bay beach - a Blue Flag-rated sandy cove with RNLI lifeguard cover from mid-May to late September - is around 400 metres downhill. Porthminster Beach in St Ives, known for its calm south-facing water and the award-winning Porthminster Beach Café, is about 1 mile along the coast path or one stop on the St Ives Bay branch line. St Ives harbour and the Tate St Ives gallery are roughly 1.2 miles away - a 25-minute walk or a short train ride from the Carbis Bay halt. The South West Coast Path runs directly through the village for walks west towards Lelant or east to St Ives.

**Best for:** Families and mixed-age groups who want to walk to the beach, accessible accommodation, and St Ives within easy reach without staying in the middle of the crowds.

**Less good for:** Guests wanting the atmosphere of being right in St Ives - Carbis Bay is quieter, which is the point.
