The Bright House

The Bright House is a four-bedroom property for eight guests near St Columb Major, arranged across three floors close to St Ervan, a rural parish about three miles from Padstow. Two bathrooms serve the group, and an enclosed garden gives the larger party private outdoor space.

Mawgan Porth is 2.4 miles away, a wide sandy beach in a sheltered valley with surf schools operating from the sand. Bedruthan Steps, the line of sea stacks visible from the cliff top, is 2.6 miles from the house, and Porthcothan Bay follows at 3.2 miles. Padstow's harbour and restaurants are about 15 minutes away by car, and Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay are also within easy reach to the north-west.

**Best for:** extended families or groups wanting four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garden and parking for two cars within driving distance of several beaches. **Less good for:** dog owners, and guests requiring step-free accommodation or electric-car charging.
