This cosy cottage sits near a working farm in a secluded cul-de-sac, once part of the Lanhydrock Estate, with easy access to Cornwall's countryside, sands and water. Padstow's Michelin-starred restaurants are a short drive away, and historic Charlestown harbour and Port Isaac are both within 18 miles. The Eden Project is 5 miles away, and the National Trust's Lanhydrock House is within walking distance. Walkers and cyclists have easy access to the Camel Trail, Bodmin Moor and Cardinham Woods, and Lanhydrock Golf Course is under a mile away.

Inside, the well-equipped kitchen has an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a dining table for two. The lounge has a Smart TV, PlayStation 4, sofa and an additional chair around the wood burner, with the first basket of logs provided. The bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe space and its own Smart TV, leading directly to the bathroom, which has a spa bath or separate shower and a WC.

Outside, the fully enclosed garden has a hot tub, sun loungers, a summer house and a fire pit or BBQ for evenings outdoors. Private parking is available for 1 car.

Best for couples wanting a quiet countryside base with a private hot tub and wood burner, since the cottage sleeps just 2 in one king-size bedroom. Less good for larger groups or families, as there is only a single bedroom and bathroom.
