The conversion opened up the original structure to create a spacious kitchen-diner and living area, with bi-fold doors giving direct access to a south-facing patio with BBQ and picnic table. Up to 2 dogs are welcome in the sheltered enclosed garden.

The interior has a fresh, bright finish suited to the open-plan layout. One shared bathroom serves all three bedrooms. The wood burner in the sitting room extends the season well into autumn. Mobile coverage can be patchy in this part of north Cornwall - worth knowing before arrival if signal matters.

For coast, Crackington Haven is about 3.4 miles west - a compact cove enclosed by dramatic striped sandstone cliffs with reliable surf breaks, rock pools, and RNLI lifeguard cover in summer. Millook Beach is 3 miles away and suits those wanting fewer crowds. Bude, with supermarkets, surf schools, and a wider range of restaurants, is about 5 miles north. The Atlantic Highway (A39) is the main route, accessed near Wainhouse Corner about a mile from the cottage.

Best for couples or a small family who want genuinely rural north Cornwall with coast access but without the July-August crowds. Less suited to guests who need village amenities within walking distance - the nearest shop and cafe are at Wainhouse Corner, roughly a mile away.
