The Cubby Hole

The Cubby Hole is a 2-bedroom dog-friendly cottage in Sennen Cove, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom. Positioned about 200 metres from the beach, it is one of the closest properties in the village to the sand - close enough to walk down for an evening swim without moving the car.

Inside, the cottage has an open fire for cooler evenings, an enclosed garden, and EV charging on site. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi and parking are included. Dogs are welcome.

Sennen Cove beach itself is nearly a mile of Atlantic-facing sand with reliable surf, RNLI lifeguard cover from Easter to early November, and a surf school operating from the beach. The harbour holds a working fleet of crab boats, and the Old Success Inn sits directly above the beach. Land's End is about a mile south along the coast path. Gwynver Beach, a quieter stretch favoured by surfers, is around 1.6 miles north. St Just, the nearest town with a supermarket, is 3 miles away.

Best for: dog owners, surfers, and families who want to be practically on the beach at Sennen with access to EV charging. Less good for: those seeking a quieter rural setting away from the coast.
