The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse is a two-storey lodge on Bude Coastal Resort, near Bude. It is unusual for a six-person let in having three bathrooms: a main bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and double basin, and two further shower rooms, so mornings are less of a queue.

The bedrooms are upstairs. There is a king-size with a flatscreen TV and two twins, which are zip-and-link beds that can be made up as doubles on request. That layout gives it flexibility for a family with older children or three couples. Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has a double oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a bar area, with a Smart TV and DVD player for the evenings.

Outside, the decking has furniture and a hot tub. The park cannot guarantee the tub will be ready for 16:00 on arrival day, owing to cleaning and maintenance. A balcony with reclining chairs is available in summer only. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and there is WiFi and central heating.

Parking is at the resort's on-site car park, where EV chargers are also available. Resort guests can use the indoor swimming pool, gym, putting green and outdoor playground. A highchair and cot can be requested, but cot linen and a mattress are not supplied. Pets are not allowed and the lodge is non-smoking.

Best for a group of up to six who want their own bathroom space; with all bedrooms upstairs, it is less good for anyone wanting to avoid stairs.
