The Goose Nest luxury lakeside shepherd hut in Cardinham Woods, Cornwall

The Goose Nest is a shepherd's hut beside a private lake in Cardinham Woods, sleeping two in a king bed. A copper basin, log burner and smart TV sit inside, with lake views from both the bed and the leather sofa. Outside there's a firepit, barbecue, outdoor furniture and use of a boat on the lake.

Cardinham Woods covers more than 650 acres of trails, and a cafe in the woods is walkable directly from the hut. Cardinham village, about a mile away, has a church, a primary school and a Pop Up Pub that runs once a month. Free on-site parking, WiFi, streaming services and soundproofing are included, and the garden is private to the hut.
