The Hayloft

Golitha Falls, a National Nature Reserve where the River Fowey runs through ancient oak woodland, is 2 miles upstream. Carnglaze Caverns - a former slate quarry with an underground lake open for tours - is a mile west of the village. The nearest beach is Plaidy, around 17 miles south near Looe. The Eden Project is about 8 miles east, making St Neot a practical base for a mixed moorland and attraction itinerary.

**Best for:** Families or couples who want a quiet Bodmin Moor base with genuine countryside around them. Good for walkers, heritage visitors, and Eden Project trips.

**Less good for:** Beach-focused holidays - the coast is over 30 minutes away in any direction. Dogs are not accepted at this property.
