The Lodgekylgenna

The Lodgekylgenna is a Victorian house above the Fowey estuary, sleeping 6 in one fixed super-king-size room, one zip-and-link room that can be arranged as a super-king-size or twins, and one twin. Two bathrooms serve the group.

A bay window in the lounge frames the river, and every floor has water views towards Polruan. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and EV charging are included. The courtyard garden provides outdoor space. Dogs are not accepted. A cupboard on the split landing houses a washer/dryer. Fowey town centre and harbour are within walking distance, placing independent shops, restaurants and the passenger ferry to Polruan nearby. Its multi-floor layout involves stairs between rooms, so it suits guests happy to climb between floors rather than those needing step-free access.

Fowey remains a working cargo port as well as a holiday town, and Daphne du Maurier lived at Ferryside in Bodinnick, just across the water, before writing Rebecca and several other novels set in the area. Readymoney Cove is 600 metres away, a sheltered sandy cove below St Catherine's Castle. Lantic Bay is 1.4 miles away and Lansallos Beach is 2.7 miles away.
