The Old Granary

The Old Granary is a converted stone building at Trevosper Barn near Polyphant, sleeping 4 across 2 bedrooms. It sits in rolling east Cornwall farmland about 4 miles west of Launceston, within easy reach of the edge of Bodmin Moor and the main A30. EV charging and off-road parking are provided on site.

Polyphant village itself is small, but the location has range. Launceston, with its Norman castle and market, is about 4 miles east. Altarnun, known for its Cathedral of the Moor church, is about 2 miles south-west. The north Cornwall coast at Crackington Haven - with its dramatic striped sandstone cliffs and reliable surf - is roughly 12 miles. St Clether Holy Well, a restored medieval baptistry chapel, is about 3 miles west along country lanes.

**Best for:** Couples or small families wanting a quiet inland base with quick A30 access, good EV infrastructure, and day-trip range to both north and south coasts.

**Less good for:** Those seeking beach-focused holidays - the coast is a 20-minute drive minimum in any direction.
