The Wagon House

The Wagon House is a two-bedroom cottage in Polyphant, a small village about 4 miles west of Launceston in east Cornwall, sleeping three guests. It forms part of Trevosper Barn, a converted farm complex near the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor.

The cottage has two bedrooms sleeping three, one bathroom, and is heated electrically. There is a washing machine and Wi-Fi, but no dishwasher. An EV charging point is provided - less common in rural cottages of this size. Outside, the shared garden includes a children's playhouse and conservatory access. Parking is included for one car. No pets are permitted. Changeover is Saturday.

Polyphant is well placed for exploring east Cornwall and Bodmin Moor. Launceston, with its Norman castle, shops, and supermarkets, is roughly 4 miles east. Altarnun, with its large medieval church known as the Cathedral of the Moor, is about 2 miles south-west. For beaches, Crackington Haven is around 12 miles north-west on the Atlantic coast, and Widemouth Bay is about 13 miles north. The A30 is about 2 miles south, giving reasonable access to Bodmin and Truro.

Best for: small families or couples who want a rural east Cornwall base with EV charging and easy A30 access. Less well suited to those prioritising beach proximity - the Atlantic coast is over 12 miles away - or guests needing a dishwasher or pet-friendly accommodation.
