The Old Harbour Masters House

The Old Harbour Masters House is a four-bedroom holiday home in Fowey, with an open-plan living space, kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and en-suite bathrooms. Patio doors flood the living space with light, and a downstairs terrace is a good spot for breakfast. Two sitting areas and two Smart TVs give everyone room to spread out, and three of the upstairs bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the water. There's an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.

Restaurants and other amenities are close by in Fowey, and Readymoney Cove is a short walk for swimming, with St Catherine's Castle nearby for a coastal stroll. Cornwall Seafari Limited runs wildlife boat trips, and the Eden Project hosts events year-round. Hangloose Adventure offers adrenaline activities, and the historic port of Charlestown, with its restaurants, is within reach for a day out. Polperro, further along the coast, has the Polperro Heritage Coast for walking and fishing, plus the Harbour Heritage Museum and Chapel Pool for a swim.

Best for larger groups or extended families wanting sea views and space to spread out, with three balconied bedrooms and two sitting rooms. Less good for guests travelling with dogs, since pets aren't permitted at this property.
