The Orange Grove

The Orange Grove is a reverse-level two-bedroom cottage near Bude, sleeping four with two bathrooms - one for each bedroom, which is a better ratio than most cottages this size manage. One room is a double and the other a twin, and up to two dogs are accepted.

The reverse-level layout puts living space upstairs, so there are stairs to reckon with, but the trade is a brighter main room. Both bedrooms have a TV, the double has an en-suite shower room, and the twin is served by a family shower room. The upstairs living area has a vaulted ceiling, original beams and a Smart TV, and the cottage has underfloor heating. Off-road parking is for one car. Parking, a garden and a dishwasher are included.

Summerleaze Beach is the nearest at 1.4 miles, Crooklets Beach is 1.7 miles and Widemouth Bay is 2.2 miles. Stibb is the nearest village, with Bude itself 1.5 miles away for the canal, the sea pool and the coast path - enough within easy reach that most days can start without a long drive.

**Best for:** a family or two couples wanting a dog-friendly Bude-area cottage with matching bedroom and bathroom counts, a garden and parking.

**Less good for:** guests avoiding stairs, and anyone requiring step-free access.
