The king-size bedroom and single bathroom suit a couple, and the cottage is a recent addition - it opened in autumn 2024, so the fit-out is new rather than tired.

The setting is the point here: the cottage overlooks the vines, and guests can join vineyard tours in spring and summer, with discounted wine tours offered to those staying. Parking, EV charging, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a garden beside the vineyard are all included, and dogs can stay. There is no Wi-Fi, so evenings lean towards the garden and a bottle from the tour rather than streaming.

The coast is a proper drive: Plaidy Beach is 4.1 miles away, East Looe Beach is 4.5 miles and Hannafore Beach is 4.9 miles, all around Looe, where the South West Coast Path runs in both directions.
