Gyllyngvase Beach - a wide, south-facing sandy beach with a beach cafe - is about 1.2 miles from the property. Castle Beach is 1.2 miles, and Swanpool Beach is 1.4 miles. Pendennis Castle, the Tudor fort at the tip of the headland, is a short drive from the house. The River Fal ferry links Falmouth to St Mawes and the Roseland in around 20 minutes.

Best for: groups of up to eight who want a town-centre Falmouth base with easy access to restaurants, beaches, and the harbour. The accessible ground floor suits mixed-ability groups. Less suited to those wanting rural quiet, or guests travelling with pets.
