The White House

The White House is a five-bedroom, six-bathroom holiday house in Polzeath on the north Cornwall coast, sleeping 12 guests. It sits at the upper end of the village with sea views across the bay - one of the larger properties available in Polzeath and well suited to groups or extended families sharing costs.

The house has five bedrooms across two floors with six bathrooms, meaning reasonable privacy for a group of 12. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, and there is a washing machine for longer stays. Outside, there is a garden and a BBQ for summer evenings. Parking is included. No hot tub and not accessible for mobility-impaired guests.

Polzeath Beach is around 0.25 miles away - wide sand, northwest-facing surf, and lifeguards in season from Easter through September. Greenaway Beach offers a quieter alternative at 0.75 miles. Daymer Bay is 1.1 miles across the Camel Estuary - calmer and good for paddleboarding. Rock is about 2 miles south, and the water taxi connects to Padstow. The coast path to Pentire Point rewards a 2-mile return walk with views across the estuary. Changeover is Thursday.

Best for large groups wanting a base close to surf and village amenities, with enough bathrooms to handle 12 people at once. Less suited to guests needing accessible features or a quiet off-season retreat - Polzeath fills quickly in school holidays and parking near the beach is limited.
