Tittle Tattle is a one-bedroom split-level ground-floor apartment for two in central Penzance, one of four conversions of a 19th-century Bell Tower on the oldest street in town. A tall Gothic window framing views across Mounts Bay distinguishes it from the newer builds along the seafront.

Inside, sleeping is in a single double bed, with a bathroom and living kitchen across the split-level footprint. The Gothic window dominates the living area and delivers most of the natural light. Accommodation is limited to two guests.

Outside, private parking comes with the apartment, which matters in central Penzance where most visitor cars must find space on the promenade or in paid car parks. Penzance harbour is under a five-minute walk, and the 1.5-mile level promenade runs around to Newlyn's working fish market, continuing to Mousehole village.

Penzance works as a base for west Cornwall: daily ferries to the Isles of Scilly, the art deco Jubilee Pool lido on the promenade, St Michael's Mount across the bay, and the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno a short drive west. Eastern Green Beach is 0.9 miles away, Long Rock 1.6 miles and Mousehole 2.4 miles. Changeover is on Saturdays.

Best for a couple wanting a central, sea-view base for exploring west Cornwall, with private parking rare for this part of Penzance. Less good for anyone needing step-free access or more than one bedroom, since the layout is split-level and sleeps two.
