Took Some Doing is a 4-bedroom house on Hengar Lane in St Tudy, in the Camel valley between Wadebridge and Bodmin Moor. It sleeps 7 across 4 en-suite bedrooms - an unusual ratio that means no sharing of bathrooms in a group of this size. The enclosed garden adds outdoor space. No pets allowed.

Inside, every bedroom has its own en-suite, which makes it practical for groups combining work and leisure or friends who prefer privacy. St Tudy village has the community-owned St Tudy Inn and a village shop, both within half a mile. The north coast beaches are about 20 minutes by car: Port Gaverne at 5 miles and Tregardock at 5 miles are the closest, with Bossiney Cove about 7.9 miles further along the coast. Wadebridge and the Camel Trail cycling path are about 5 miles west. Rough Tor and Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor are accessible from car parks to the east.

Best for groups of 6-7 who want generous room separation, easy coast-and-moor access, and a quiet rural setting. Less suited to parties needing a hot tub, guests with pets, or visitors expecting a beachside location.
