Tregoninny Vineyard and Woodland Farmhouse

Tregoninny Vineyard and Woodland Farmhouse is an 11-bedroom estate complex near Truro, spread across the main house and converted barns, sleeping 22 with eight bathrooms between them - enough for two or three families to share a week without constantly queuing for a shower.

Vineyard grounds and a tiered, multi-level garden give the group significant outdoor space. Inside there are woodburning stoves in the dining room, sitting room and conservatory, plus an open fire, and there is a barbecue area outdoors. The garden has an unfenced pond, so keep an eye on young children and dogs. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and the three barns and the courtyard annex are all on the ground floor with no steps. The owner lists four of the bedrooms as ideal for guests with limited mobility, but the main farmhouse has most of its bedrooms upstairs, and some bathroom handrails shown in the photos are no longer in place, so confirm doorway widths and bathroom access with the owner. The driveway is steep, long, winding and rough, so check it suits your vehicle. Dogs are welcome throughout. Changeover day is Friday. A cot and highchair are available, and there is a games room.

This is an inland estate rather than walk-to-beach accommodation: Pendower Beach is 5.8 miles away, Carne Beach is 6 miles and Perranporth Beach is 7.9 miles, each requiring a drive. Truro itself, with its Gothic Revival cathedral completed in 1910 and the indoor Pannier Market, is the nearest city for shopping and restaurants.

**Best for:** Large multi-family groups wanting extensive grounds, eight bathrooms, laundry facilities and ground-floor barn and annex rooms with no steps.

**Less good for:** Guests who need detailed accessibility information such as doorway widths, and anyone hoping to walk to a beach.
