The cottage runs as a quiet retreat for two: one double bedroom, a shower room, and an open kitchen-diner with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Wi-Fi throughout. Honest caveat: it's not set up for dogs, and there's no fireplace - the heating does the work in colder months.

Outside, an enclosed garden with table and chairs catches afternoon sun. Wadebridge town centre is a short walk for Eddy's Pasties, The Relish cafe, and Saltwater restaurant. The Royal Cornwall Showground sits on the south side of town and hosts the Royal Cornwall Show each June. Padstow is 8 miles west by road or a 5-mile cycle along the Camel Trail; Daymer Bay and Polzeath beach sit 7 to 8 miles north across the estuary; the Eden Project is 25 miles south.
