Tresungers Cottage

Tresungers Cottage is a three-bedroom ancient farmhouse near Port Isaac, sleeping seven with a wood-burning stove in the sitting room and a shared lawned garden outside. The property is closed from the October half-term until Easter each year.

Two bathrooms serve the three bedrooms. The bedrooms are two doubles and a double with an extra single bed, which is where the seventh guest sleeps. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and parking is provided on site. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome. The kitchen with a Rayburn, the dining area, the sitting room and a cloakroom are on the ground floor, while the three bedrooms and the family shower room are upstairs. The farm lane is 500 yards of rough hardcore, and towels are not provided.

Port Gaverne Beach, a sheltered cove about 10 minutes on foot from the village, is 1.1 miles away, and Port Isaac is 1.5 miles away by footpath. Tregardock Beach, a remote surf beach down a steep path, is 3.7 miles away, and Polzeath Beach, with its left and right-hand surf breaks, is 4.5 miles from the farmhouse. Changeover day is Saturday.

**Best for:** a family or group wanting farmhouse space, two bathrooms and easy access to Port Isaac's harbour and restaurants. **Less good for:** anyone who cannot manage stairs to the bedrooms, or guests wanting to travel between October half-term and Easter.
