The enclosed garden has a BBQ and room for children or dogs to move around freely, while on-site EV charging covers modern practicalities. One dog is welcome.

The coastal geography here is a strong point. Daymer Bay is 3.1km, Greenaway Beach 3.3km, and Polzeath Beach 3.3km - all three within easy cycling or driving distance. Rock village is 1km away, with the Black Tor ferry crossing to Padstow operating seasonally in roughly 10 minutes. Padstow's harbour restaurants and the Rock Oyster Festival in July are both accessible from here without a long drive.

Walking options extend in several directions. The South West Coast Path runs along the Camel Estuary shore, connecting Rock to Daymer Bay and Trebetherick. The Camel Trail cycling route starts in Padstow, 5 miles away. For a quieter day, the farm itself has footpaths and rural lanes.

Suits couples or small families who want beach access without the crowd density of Newquay or Polzeath town. The 1-dog limit and lack of a hot tub keeps costs in a mid-range bracket. Not great for groups wanting luxury finishes - the period cottage aesthetic trades polished interiors for character and location.
