Treview

Treview is a one-bedroom cottage near Launceston, set up for two guests with one bathroom.

The bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs, with five open-tread steps from the deck down to the lawn. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and a private garden cover the rest of a stay. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.

Changeover day is Friday. Off-road parking is for 2 cars, and only infants and children up to the age of three can stay, with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Launceston, Cornwall's historic county town, has a Norman castle overlooking the Tamar Valley a short drive from the cottage, while Egloskerry is the nearest village. The coast is a proper trip from here rather than a walk: Millook Beach is 11.4 miles away, Crackington Haven 11.7 miles and Widemouth Bay 11.9 miles, all workable as a day out by car.

This is a quiet, inland stay built around practical facilities rather than sea views.

**Best for:** couples wanting a quiet cottage with a private garden near Launceston.

**Less good for:** anyone wanting a beach within walking distance, since the coast is over 11 miles away.
