Trewethan Barn

Four-bedroom converted barn sleeping eight, a short walk from Tintagel on the north Cornwall coast. The lounge keeps the original exposed beams, with field views across to the headland and a slice of sea on the horizon. Rated 9.5/10 from four guest reviews.

One of the four bedrooms has an ensuite; a family bathroom serves the other three. The barn includes wifi, an open fire, dishwasher, washing machine and an EV charging point, with accessible features inside. Dogs are welcome.

The enclosed outdoor area has seating and on-site parking. Trewethan can be booked alongside Dragon Barn and The Little Barn next door to sleep up to 14 across the three buildings - useful for extended-family weeks where the cousins want their own roof.

Tintagel village (shops, two pubs, the 14th-century Old Post Office) is a few minutes on foot. The footbridge to Tintagel Castle is a 15-minute walk, Trebarwith Strand is two miles south for surf and low-tide sand, and Boscastle harbour is four miles north.

Best for larger families and groups who want space without a long drive to the coast path. Less good for guests after a remote rural setting - this is a barn on the edge of a working village.
