Una, Lodge 70 is a two-bedroom lodge at the Una resort in Carbis Bay, sleeping four guests with two bathrooms - one per bedroom, which spares a sharing family the morning queue. An open fire gives the living space warmth, and the enclosed garden provides private outdoor space within the resort grounds.

Resort living is the trade this lodge offers: access to the shared swimming pool and gym adds leisure facilities no standalone cottage matches, at the cost of having neighbours doing the same. Off-road parking, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. The lodge has a Friday changeover, with check-in from 4pm and check-out by 10am. There is a ground-floor bedroom, and a cot is available. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Carbis Bay beach is 900 metres away, close enough for a morning on the sand without moving the car. Porthkidney Beach is 1.4 miles from the lodge and Porthminster Beach is 1.7 miles, with the Carbis Bay guide covering the branch-line route into St Ives.

**Best for:** a family or two couples wanting two bathrooms, pool and gym access, an open fire and a beach within walking distance.

**Less good for:** guests who require step-free accommodation, and anyone who prefers a standalone cottage to resort surroundings.
