Valley View is a 4-bedroom contemporary house near Mullion on the Lizard, sleeping 8 across 5 bathrooms with a hot tub, swimming pool, open fire, and BBQ - a combination of facilities that makes it one of the more comprehensively equipped properties on this part of the coast.

Four bedrooms and 5 bathrooms give the house a generous ratio of facilities to guests. The open fire adds warmth for autumn and spring stays. A BBQ and enclosed garden extend the living space outside in summer. A swimming pool is also available with the property. Wi-fi and off-road parking are both included, along with a dishwasher and washing machine. Dogs are welcome. Saturday changeover.

Three beaches are within a mile of the property. Poldhu Cove is the closest at just over half a mile - a wide sandy beach with some surf and a National Trust cafe above the dunes. Polurrian Beach is under a mile, and Gunwalloe Church Cove - known for the medieval clifftop church of St Winwaloe set into the dunes - is around 1.1 miles. The coast path links all three without needing a car. Mullion village, with a pub, shop, and church, is a short walk.

Best for larger family groups or two households wanting the Lizard's less commercial coastline without sacrificing comfort. The hot tub and pool make it well suited to shoulder-season bookings. Less suited to guests expecting quick access to Falmouth or Truro, or those wanting a lively town base - the Lizard is quieter and more remote than north Cornwall.
