Valpre

Valpre is a three-bedroom cottage for six near Manaccan, a small village on the eastern side of the Lizard close to the Helford River. One king-size, one double and one twin bedroom are arranged across the ground and upper floors, with the first-floor twin opening onto a balcony with countryside views.

A single bathroom serves all six guests. Both a wood burner and open fire are in regular use inside. The large lawned garden backs onto countryside and includes a terrace, barbecue and seating for six. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs are accepted, though there's no hot tub or sea view.

Manaccan's parish church has Norman origins and a fig tree that has grown from a crack in its south wall for more than 200 years, with the New Inn serving the small village nearby. Ponsence Cove is 1.2 miles away, followed by Helford Passage Beach at 1.2 miles and Porth Saxon at 1.7 miles. Helford village, with its thatched cottages and seasonal ferry to Helford Passage, is about 2 miles west, and the Lizard is available for a day trip south.
