The main bedroom has a king-size bed; the second takes either a 5ft king zip-link or two 2'6" single beds, which gives the property unusual flexibility for couples travelling together. The layout sits across a single level, with no internal stairs.

The cottage was originally a wagon store and retains the sense of space that suggests - reviews consistently describe it as deceptively roomy for its footprint. Off-road parking is included, along with accessibility features that make it one of the more practical options in this corner of North Cornwall.

Outside, a private enclosed rear garden with furniture gives a sheltered spot away from the coast winds. The property sits roughly equidistant between the villages of Marhamchurch and Week St Mary, each about two to three miles away. Both have centuries-old churches and village pubs, with community shops selling local produce.

Widemouth Bay is the nearest beach at 2.4 miles, with Millook Beach at 3.1 miles and Summerleaze in Bude at 4.4 miles. The coast villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Crackington Haven all sit within roughly half an hour's drive, and the South West Coast Path gives access to some of the most dramatic cliff walking in Cornwall.

Best for guests who want single-level living - there are no internal stairs and off-road parking is right outside. Less good for anyone hoping to walk to the beach - Widemouth Bay is 2.4 miles away, so a car is essential.
