Wavetop is a top-floor, two-bedroom apartment in Carbis Bay sleeping four, with two bathrooms and a private enclosed garden. The building sits above the village, a quarter of a mile from Carbis Bay beach - a 500-metre Blue Flag arc of pale sand sheltered enough for swimming from April onwards. Off-road parking is included.

Inside the apartment, the layout gives each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi runs throughout. No dogs are accepted. Saturday changeover. The enclosed garden is an unusual feature for an apartment of this size and adds usable outdoor space without the maintenance of a full holiday cottage.

Carbis Bay sits one stop on the St Ives Bay Line from St Ives - the branch line runs from the village halt to St Erth, connecting to mainline GWR services. On foot, St Ives harbour is about a mile along the coast path heading east. Porthkidney Beach - a long, flat strand popular with dog walkers - is just over a mile west along the shoreline. Porthminster Beach, St Ives' south-facing sheltered cove, is also around a mile away.

Best for two couples or a family of four who want a beach base within walking distance of the sand and easy rail access into St Ives without driving. Less suited to guests needing ground-floor access or travelling with pets.
