Westward 8

Westward 8 is a two-bedroom cottage in Polzeath, sleeping four with one bathroom. The property has a wetsuit rail - useful when you are arriving with boards and gear from a session at the beach. It sits on Dunder Hill, part of the Greenaway residential area above the village, with the coast path accessible from the street.

Polzeath Beach is 700m down the hill - a wide sand beach with consistent Atlantic swell, a surf school, and lifeguard cover from late May to September. Greenaway Beach is 900m, a quieter cove used mostly by locals. Daymer Bay is 1.3km south around the headland, sheltered and sand-bar friendly for paddleboarding at low tide.

The village has a co-op, several cafes, and a pub within a few minutes' walk. Rock is accessible across the Camel Estuary by kayak at low tide or by a short drive via Wadebridge. The garden, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. WiFi is provided throughout. Saturday changeover.

This cottage suits pairs or small families with children who want a surf-focused stay with everything in the village reachable on foot.
